Description
Make Christmas Eve extra magical with our colour-your-own Christmas Eve Platter, a Santa treats board with everything Santa and his reindeer need for their big night. Engraved spots for Santa's Snack, Santa's Drink and a Reindeer Treat sit among candy canes, presents, a bauble, a bell, a candle, a stocking, a gingerbread friend and a sky full of stars, all framed by "Merry Christmas Santa" and a cheery "Thanks For Visiting". Every design is beautifully engraved and ready for your colours, whether that's classic reds and greens, bright summery shades, soft pastels or a sparkle of metallic.
Perfect For
- A Christmas Eve family tradition: set out Santa's snack, drink and reindeer treat on a platter you coloured yourselves
- Colouring together in the lead-up to Christmas, with kids, parents and grandparents side by side
- Grandparents and grandkids, as a special project to make together and bring out year after year
- A calm, screen-free school holiday afternoon at home
- A handmade keepsake or gift: colour it for someone, or give it uncoloured so they can start their own tradition
What's Included
- 1 × Christmas Eve Platter: a 250mm square engraved Santa treats board, uncoloured and ready to colour
Your platter arrives uncoloured with the design beautifully engraved and ready to colour, just as it appears in the photos.
Colouring & Finishing
- Follow the engraved lines, then add your own patterns wherever you like.
- Once your colouring is completely dry, seal your platter with a varnish, following the sealer's instructions, so your colours stay protected year after year. You'll find sealers in our Primers & Sealers collection.
Easels shown in photos are for display only and are not included. Colouring tools and sealers are sold separately.
Care
- Pop Santa's treats on a napkin, a small plate or in a cupcake wrapper before setting them on your platter, to keep moisture off your colouring.
- Stand Santa's drink on a small plate or coaster too, so summer condensation stays off the board.
- Once sealed, wipe gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Don't soak it or leave it somewhere damp.
- Keep unsealed MDF dry.
- Store it flat, dry and out of direct sunlight, ready for next Christmas Eve.

Made In Australia
We're wildly passionate about Australian manufacturing. All our Hueray products are designed in Australia by Australian artists, and made by our sister company, Creative Groove in the South West of Western Australia.
We are certified Australian Made and Owned by the Australian Made Campaign.

🌱 Why We Use Australian MDF
We use MDF as the base for our creations — but not just any MDF. Ours is made right here in Australia by Alpine MDF, a company with genuine, long-term roots in sustainable forestry.
Unlike many imported products, Alpine MDF is E0 grade, which means it’s engineered to have very low formaldehyde emissions — less than 0.5 mg/L. That’s the strictest rating available in Australia and is comparable to the levels naturally found in solid wood.
When you choose Hueray, you’re choosing:
✨ A sustainable base grown in Australian soil
✨ E0-grade boards safe for families and schools
✨ FSC- and PEFC-certified wood you can trust
✨ And a circle of support for local jobs and industries

Why do you say your art boards are the OG?
Why do you say your art boards are the OG?
Our boards are the OG (AKA Original) engraved art boards as we first developed engraved art boards back in 2022.
We loved MDF as a craft surface and wanted to make something that people of all ages could enjoy.
The engraved lines made it easy to colour in for both children and adults.
