Competition Terms and Conditions

Please find below the terms and conditions of all competitions run by Hueray.

Please note Hueray has verified social media accounts using the @hueray handle on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. We will contact you via this official social media account or email ending in @hueray.com. Please check you are speaking with the official Hueray account if contacted. We will never ask you for payment details with notifying you of a prize.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

By participating in this competition and submitting user-generated content (such as photos, videos, or written entries), participants agree to grant to us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and display the content for the purposes of the competition, promotional materials, and related marketing activities and future promotions.

Participants represent and warrant that they are the rightful owners of the submitted user-generated content or have obtained all necessary permissions, licenses, and consents from the relevant rights holders. Participants further confirm that their content does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other proprietary rights. If the Promoter becomes aware of or believes that there has been a breach of any warranty contained in these terms and conditions, we may deem the prize winner ineligible.

We acknowledge that participants retain their ownership rights to the user-generated content submitted for the competition, subject to the granted license mentioned above. However, we shall have no obligation to display or use the content beyond the purposes of the competition.

Participants understand and agree that we may attribute their name or social media handle alongside their user-generated content when used in relation to the competition or promotional materials.

We reserve the right to remove or disqualify any user-generated content that violates intellectual property rights, is deemed inappropriate, or does not comply with the competition terms and conditions. In such cases, the participant may be disqualified from the competition without prior notice.

Participants acknowledge that we assume no responsibility for any unauthorised use or infringement of third-party intellectual property rights resulting from the submission or use of user-generated content.

COMPETITION TERMS

Please take the time to read the terms that apply to your participation in the Competition, as your entry constitutes acceptance of these terms.

All instructions and other information published on our website or social media platforms in connection with the relevant Competition will form part of these terms.

PRIVACY AND MARKETING CONSENT

All personal information is handled in accordance with these conditions and our Privacy Policy.

As a condition of your participation in the Competition, we may collect your personal information to enable us to manage, administer and promote the Competition and, where applicable, announce and publicise the Winner details.

This personal information may also be provided to persons assisting us, including prize suppliers and deliverers, marketing agencies, media outlets and related businesses, for the purposes of carrying out future promotional campaigns and providing information about our products and services. By participating in the Competition, you consent to these uses and disclosures of your personal information.

On entry, you also consent to the retention of your personal information for our use from time to time to let you know about news, offers, products and services that you may be interested in, through any medium. You acknowledge that we may collect and disclose your information to third parties that provide us with data analysis and matching services, as well as general marketing services.

It is a condition of entry that all Eligible Participants consent to receiving marketing communications from us and not opt out during the Promotional Period.

After the Promotional Period, you may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

By participating in the Competition, you acknowledge that if you are a Winner you consent to us using your name, likeness, image, voice and entry in any marketing and promotion of the Competition or our business.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, in no event are we, any of our subsidiaries, or any of their shareholders, directors, officers, employees or licensors, nor any other Promoter, responsible for any losses and expenses, however arising, including without limitation, any direct, indirect and/or present, unascertained, future or contingent, loss of use, loss of data, loss caused by a virus, loss of income or profit or projected profit, loss or damage to property, claims of third parties, or other losses of any kind or character arising from or in connection with your entry into the Competition and/or the prizes. Our liability for any breach of a condition or warranty under these terms shall be limited to the extent provided for by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010).

To the extent permitted by law, we do not accept any responsibility, and are not liable for:

any additional conditions imposed by third party service providers on the taking of the Prize, or the breach of those conditions by any person and the consequences, which may follow;
any element of the Prize which is cancelled or delayed, or where the location is changed (if applicable), or any other occurrence which is out of our reasonable control.

The Promoter shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance of any part of the Competition due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, governmental actions, pandemics, labour strikes, and other unforeseen events (collectively referred to as 'Force Majeure'). In the occurrence of such Force Majeure events, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the Competition as necessary, while making all reasonable efforts to minimise the impact on participants.

The Promoter also acknowledges that technical issues, including but not limited to software malfunctions, hardware failures, internet disruptions, or other electronic or technical problems (collectively referred to as 'Technical Issues'), may occur. While the Promoter commits to taking reasonable steps to prevent and address such Technical Issues, it shall not be held liable for any impact these issues may have on the entry, execution, or outcome of the Competition. In the event of significant Technical Issues, the Promoter reserves the right to extend entry periods, postpone or modify elements of the Competition, or take other appropriate measures to ensure fairness and integrity of the Competition.

In both Force Majeure and Technical Issues scenarios, the Promoter will communicate any changes or impacts to the Competition to participants as soon as practicable, through the same channels used to promote the Competition or through direct communication to affected parties.

Except for any liability that cannot be law be excluded, we (including its respective officers, affiliated companies, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) of any kind; whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of or connected to the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions.

Eligible Participants agree that we will not be liable for any injury or damage, howsoever caused, associated with or in connection with the Promotion or the Prize.

SOCIAL PLATFORMS

Our Competitions are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest or YouTube Platforms. You agree to release the Platforms from any liability, all claims and demands arising out of, or in connection with, your participation in this Competition or any of the prizes offered. You further agree to any rules or guidelines stipulated by the Platform relating to the use of the Platform and your participation in any Competition.

SEVERABILITY

If any term or provision of these terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, such provision will be changed and interpreted so as to best accomplish the objectives of the original provision to the fullest extent allowed by law. The remaining provisions of these terms will remain in full force and effect.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

All terms shall be construed in accordance with and governed in all respects by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. In relation to any dispute, we ask that you contact us in the first instance so that both parties can, acting in good faith, resolve the dispute to our mutual satisfaction as quickly and cost-effectively as possible. Where a dispute cannot be resolved, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia, Australia.

COLOUR PLANNER COMPETITION

Promotional Period: Monday 5 October 2026, from 12:00am AEDT to 11:59pm AEDT

Promotion Type: Game of chance

Winner Selection: One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries using Random.org. The draw will be conducted in Western Australia.

Winner Announcement: Tuesday 6 October 2026 in the Hueray Colour Club Facebook Group. Hueray may also announce the winner through Hueray’s official Facebook and Instagram Stories.

Prize: The Hueray product represented by the Colour Planner design submitted by the winning entrant.

Prize Value: The prize has an approximate retail value of $45-$55 AUD, depending on the product represented by the winning design, plus standard postage.

3. PROMOTIONAL PERIOD

The Competition opens at 12:00am AEDT on Monday 5 October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on Monday 5 October 2026.

Entries received after the Promotional Period has closed will not be accepted.

Hueray is not responsible for entries that are late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted or not received for any reason.

4. ELIGIBILITY

Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.

Employees, contractors, directors, management and immediate family members of Hueray Pty Ltd, and anyone directly involved in administering the Competition, are not eligible to enter.

5. HOW TO ENTER

To enter:

Visit the official Hueray Colour Club Facebook Group.
Locate the official Colour Planner Competition post.
Use the Hueray Colour Planner to create your own colour design.
Take a screenshot of your completed Colour Planner design.
Post your screenshot as a comment on the official Colour Planner Competition post during the Promotional Period.

Each valid screenshot submitted will count as one entry.

6. NUMBER OF ENTRIES

Entrants may enter as many times as they wish during the Promotional Period.

Each entry must feature a colour design created by the entrant using the Hueray Colour Planner.

Hueray reserves the right to reject or disqualify entries that are fraudulent, copied, offensive, inappropriate or otherwise do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.

7. VALID ENTRIES

To be eligible, an entry must:

be submitted during the Promotional Period;
include a screenshot of a completed Hueray Colour Planner design;
be posted as a comment on the official Colour Planner Competition post within the Hueray Colour Club Facebook Group; and
comply with these Terms and Conditions.

The timestamp of the Facebook comment will be used to determine when an entry was submitted.

Hueray reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entry that does not meet the requirements of the Competition.

8. WINNER SELECTION

One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.

The winner will be selected using Random.org.

The draw will be conducted in Western Australia on Tuesday 6 October 2026.

The winner will be announced in the Hueray Colour Club Facebook Group on Tuesday 6 October 2026.

Hueray may also announce the winner through Hueray’s official Facebook and Instagram Stories.

The Promoter’s decision regarding the selection of the winner is final, subject to any rights available to entrants under applicable law.

9. PRIZE

The winner will receive the Hueray product represented by the Colour Planner design submitted as their winning entry.

The prize has an approximate retail value of $45-$55 AUD, depending on the product represented by the winning design.

Standard postage will be included.

The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or another product.

The final physical product will be produced using the winning Colour Planner design as a guide. Due to the nature of production, the final product may not be an exact reproduction of the Colour Planner image.

10. WINNER NOTIFICATION

The winner will be announced in the Hueray Colour Club Facebook Group on Tuesday 6 October 2026 and contacted directly via Facebook Messenger.

The winner may be required to provide information reasonably necessary to confirm their eligibility and arrange delivery of the prize.

The winner must respond within 7 days of being contacted.

If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within 7 days, or is found to be ineligible, Hueray reserves the right to select an alternative winner from the remaining eligible entries.

11. WINNER PUBLICITY

By entering the Competition, entrants acknowledge that if they are selected as the winner, Hueray may identify them by their name and/or social media username when announcing or celebrating the Competition winner.

This may include posts or Stories published on Hueray’s official Facebook and Instagram accounts and announcements within the Hueray Colour Club Facebook Group.

12. USER-GENERATED CONTENT

By entering the Competition, each entrant confirms that the submitted design and screenshot are their own work and do not knowingly infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.

Entrants retain ownership of their submitted content.

By submitting an entry, entrants grant Hueray a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce, display and share their entry for the purposes of administering, promoting and publicising the Competition and Hueray, including on Hueray’s website and social media channels.

Hueray may remove or disqualify any entry that it considers to be infringing, inappropriate, offensive or otherwise not compliant with these Terms and Conditions.

13. PRIVACY

Personal information collected in connection with this Competition will be handled in accordance with Hueray’s Privacy Policy.

Personal information may be used to administer the Competition, verify eligibility, contact the winner and arrange delivery of the prize.

Entering this Competition does not require entrants to consent to unrelated marketing. Any marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy and marketing laws and Hueray’s Privacy Policy.

This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or any other social media platform.

By entering the Competition, entrants release Facebook and other applicable social media platforms from any responsibility or liability arising from the Competition, to the extent permitted by law.

Entrants must comply with the applicable rules and terms of use of the social media platform used to enter the Competition.

15. TECHNICAL ISSUES

Hueray will take reasonable steps to conduct the Competition as described in these Terms and Conditions.

Hueray is not responsible for technical difficulties, internet or telecommunications failures, Facebook outages, website or platform issues, or any other circumstances beyond Hueray’s reasonable control that may prevent or interfere with an entrant submitting an entry.

If the Competition cannot be conducted as reasonably anticipated, Hueray reserves the right to take reasonable steps to modify, suspend or cancel the Competition, subject to applicable law.

16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law, Hueray Pty Ltd and its officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with participation in the Competition or acceptance or use of the prize.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under applicable law, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

17. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be removed or limited to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.

Participants submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia, subject to any mandatory rights or protections that apply to participants under the laws of their place of residence.

GUESS THE FELT BALLS COMPETITION

Promotion Type: Guessing competition

Winner Selection: The winner will be the first eligible entrant to correctly guess the total number of felt balls contained in the lolly dispenser. If nobody guesses the exact number, the winner will be the eligible entrant whose guess is closest to the correct number.

Winner Announcement: Wednesday 7 October 2026 in the Hueray Colour Club Facebook Group. Hueray may also announce the winner through Hueray’s official Facebook and Instagram Stories.

Prize: $50 Hueray Gift Voucher in the winner’s local currency.

Submit your guess by commenting on the official Competition post with the number of felt balls you believe are contained in the lolly dispenser.

Each person may submit one guess only.

6. ONE ENTRY PER PERSON

Only one entry is permitted per person.

If an entrant submits more than one comment or guess, only their first comment will be counted. Any subsequent comments from the same entrant will be disregarded.

Entries submitted on behalf of another person are not permitted.

7. DETERMINING THE WINNER

The correct number of felt balls contained in the lolly dispenser will be determined by Hueray.

The winner will be determined as follows:

If one or more eligible entrants guess the correct number, the winner will be the person who submitted the correct guess first.
If no eligible entrant guesses the correct number, the winner will be the person whose eligible guess is closest to the correct number.
If two or more eligible entrants are equally closest to the correct number, the winner will be the person who submitted their qualifying guess first.

The timestamp of the entrant’s first eligible comment will be used to determine which qualifying entry was submitted first.

Hueray’s records of the Competition entries and Facebook comment timestamps will be used to determine the winner.

8. PRIZE

The winner will receive a $50 Hueray Gift Voucher in the winner’s local currency.

For example, an Australian winner will receive a $50 AUD Gift Voucher, a New Zealand winner will receive a $50 NZD Gift Voucher, and a US winner will receive a $50 USD Gift Voucher.

The Gift Voucher is subject to Hueray’s applicable Gift Voucher terms and conditions.

The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

9. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT AND NOTIFICATION

The winner will be announced in the Hueray Colour Club Facebook Group on Wednesday 7 October 2026.

Hueray may also announce the winner through Hueray’s official Facebook and Instagram Stories.

The winner will be contacted directly via Facebook Messenger.

The winner may be required to provide information reasonably necessary to confirm their eligibility and arrange delivery of the prize.

The winner must respond within 7 days of being contacted.

If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within 7 days, or is found to be ineligible, Hueray reserves the right to determine an alternative winner in accordance with the winner-selection method outlined in these Terms and Conditions.

Entries should be creative and can include unusual, unexpected or unconventional decorating ideas. Entrants are encouraged to think beyond paint.

6. VALID ENTRIES

To be a valid entry, the comment must include a description of how the entrant would decorate a blank Hueray word or letter, including the medium, material or decorating method they would use.

Comments that do not include a decorating idea or method will not be eligible for the draw.

Each eligible comment will count as one entry.

Hueray reserves the right to reject or disqualify entries that are fraudulent, copied, offensive, inappropriate or otherwise do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.

7. NUMBER OF ENTRIES

Entrants may enter multiple times during the Promotional Period.

Each comment containing a valid decorating idea or method will be treated as a separate entry.

8. WINNER SELECTION

Hueray's decision regarding the selection of the winner is final, subject to any rights available to entrants under applicable law.

9. SUNDAY 11 OCTOBER: WIN A $150 GIFT VOUCHER

Customers who place an order during the Birthday Sale on Sunday 11 October 2026 between 12:01am and 11:59pm AEDT will receive one entry into the draw to win a $150 Hueray Gift Voucher.

One entry is provided per qualifying order.

A customer who places multiple separate orders on Sunday will receive one entry for each qualifying order.

One winner will be selected at random by Hueray.

The winner will receive a $150 Hueray Gift Voucher in the winner's local currency.

For example, an Australian winner will receive a $150 AUD Gift Voucher, a New Zealand winner will receive a $150 NZD Gift Voucher, and a US winner will receive a $150 USD Gift Voucher.

Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively to orders placed before the relevant promotion begins.

Discounts cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, Birthday Sale discounts cannot be combined with other discount codes, offers or promotions.

The Birthday Sale discounts do not apply to postage or shipping charges.

If a product is already discounted through another promotion, the Birthday Sale discount will be applied according to the promotional mechanics displayed on the Hueray website at the time of purchase.

11. ORDERS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

All orders placed during the Birthday Sale remain subject to Hueray's standard Terms & Conditions, Shipping Policy and Returns and Refunds Policy.

Nothing in these Birthday Sale Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights a customer may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

All products are subject to availability.

Hueray reserves the right to correct genuine pricing or technical errors.

Where an advertised promotion is affected by a website or technical error, Hueray will take reasonable steps to correct the error and honour valid orders where required by law.

13. CHANGES TO THE PROMOTION

Hueray reserves the right to amend or withdraw a promotional offer where reasonably necessary due to circumstances outside its reasonable control, technical issues, or an error, subject always to applicable consumer law.
